This CEMA-developed conveyor guard warning label alerts personnel that exposed moving parts can cause severe injury and that power must be locked out before removing a guard.

Use this safety label on removable guards where operation of the machinery with guards removed would expose hazardous components.

Placement Guidance

To be placed on removable guards to warn that operating the machinery with guards removed may expose chains, belts, gears, shafts, pulleys, couplings, and similar components that create serious hazards.

Duty Rating – Severe-Duty

Designed for interior or exterior use. Severe-duty labels feature:

• 1.42 mil clear UV-resistant polyester laminate

• Increased heat and weather resistance

• Enhanced dimensional stability

Construction (All CEMA Safety Labels)

• UV resistant inks

• 4 mil white vinyl face stock (high tack permanent)

• I406-K permanent adhesive

• Service temperature range: –40° to +200°F

• Minimum application temperature: +50°F

• High adhesion to stainless steel, aluminum, painted surfaces, and plastics
